Denver-Elek was contracted to provide significant mechanical upgrades to the HVAC systems at the Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg. This three-level school building was built in 1986. The scope of work included replacing gas fired boilers, a water-cooled chiller unit, and several air handling units throughout the school building. DDC controls were also upgraded to control all the new equipment. In all, 95 new units were replaced in a single summer season!
